About This Project

Watercolour  Approx 24 by 16 inches

These little birds are commonly seen in both urban and rural areas. They often roost at night in the centre of towns and cities, even in the heart of Dublin’s busiest street. These Shannon wagtails arrive in the town centre before dusk, coming in from the surrounding countryside and from housing and industrial areas to sleep high above the oblivious humans.
